My dad is an Aircraft mechanic and as a child we went were the work was... this caused us to move around a lot. By the time I was 6 I had lived in BC, Ontario and Manitoba, then moved back to BC when I was around 11.
Just after my 15th birthday my Mom and I moved to the lower mainland of BC where I lived for many years. During this time I joined the Canadian Armed forces with the British Columbia Regiment (Dukes) and from there the Regular Forces when I turn 18.
In 1997 I moved to Reno NV, and got married but that is a whole other story in itself. I have a loving wife, 2 great children and a pack of rescue dogs (5) and live in a quiet neighborhood.
And that is my life in a nutshell... I am pretty open so if you want to know something specific just ask, if it is something I do not want to talk about then I will say so.
Well for the most part the average person here is like the average person in Canada, we go to work, pay our bills and bitch about our government. The biggest difference I see revolves around guns and health care.
